Product overview

A content editor that ends where your repository begins.

Mica is for content-driven business sites with a small editing team and a few hundred entries. It gives editors the right controls and gives developers a file system they can trust.

One system, three clear views

Good for the whole site team.

For editors

Use clear forms, useful field labels, rich text, media, relations, and reorderable lists. Save freely: drafts stay yours until you publish. The Publish page shows what each pending change does, field by field, before it becomes one commit.

For developers

Define the model in TypeScript and use getCollection in Astro. Content is local, typed, diffable, and available without a live CMS or a read token.

For operators

Run one container with SQLite and OpenID Connect. There is no database server, cache, queue, object store, content API, or build webhook.

A clean work surface

The model does the busy work.

Add a collection or field in code. Mica reads the new model and updates the editing interface — no admin screen to build, no form schema to copy.

What runs where

Small pieces with clean boundaries.

The public site gets no client library. It receives the static output that Astro already makes.
